TIMISOARA
Romania May 29th, 2010Dr. Sos and Barbara were joined by Dr. Paul Sheppard from Okotkos, AB Canada, on the Pentecost weekend in Romania , for a time of ministry in Timisoara. Rev. Mot, senior pastor of Elim Penticostal Church, orginized two days of seminars with several hundred participants in sessions shared between Dr. Sos and Dr. Paul Sheppard. In the evening services Dr. Sos preached messages on Pentecost. Pentecost Sunday and Monday were specially blessed. The Lord moved by his Spirit in a powerful way. The Monday night outdoor rally was moved to the church premises because of unstable weather conditions. Some 3000 people attended this very special service, a real Pentecost.
Pentecost Sunday AM service, Dr. Sos ministered at Poarta Cerului (Heavens’s Gate). Rev. Ioan Filip, senior pastor is also the president of the local Bible School. He planted this thriving congregation some five years ago, and the church is enjoying growth through the evangelistic effort of their people. Saturday night Pastor Virgil Gherasim invited Dr. Sos and Dr. Paul Sheppard for ministry at ALFA Church Giarmata. They were able to pray with many believers who needed healing and the touch of God upon their life.

Dear Bro. Sos
Am back home safely, & good health. I thought you would appreciate knowing of the homegoing of Pastor Mot’s brother just last weekend. It may have been Sunday that he died. I was with Pastor Mot on MOnday for lunch, and also Adi. He had to travel to the funeral this week.
I had a real busy time in Ukraine, but a good and profitable time also. Another Romanian speaking seminary in Chernivtsi want me to come to them next time I am over thre.
I do have an invite to teach in Timisoara any time I can get there. I was privilaged to assist in serving the Holy Communion last Sunday at Elim, and to preach a 15 minute essage for the baby dedication part of the service. I found out later that Dr. Neil Anderson was doing a conference there, in Timisoara, and asked to come and speak but they said “no” due to the Pastoral nature of the service, and that I was in place to speak. So, I was very privilaged.
Trust you are well, and experiencing God’s blessings there.
Paul Sheppard
