Rev. Enrique Strohschein, pastor of “Iglesia Emanuel” and President of the Assembly of God Argentina, invited Dr. Sos to minister in his church as well as some other churches in the area. For the last 20 Years Dr. Sos travels to Argentina, conducting seminars, teaching,  equipping church leaders, preaching crusades services and ministering to the local churches. We were blessed to see this growing congregation in their new building, although it still needs to be finished. This was the last service in Argentina for this year. The Lord blessed our ministry and we are looking forward to next years ministry.

“Iglesia Evangelica Catedral de Vida”, pastored by Rev. Gustavo Calardo, who is also a member of the Executive Committee  of the AoG, Argentina, invited Dr. Sos to minister in his church. The congregation is used to having great speakers and ministries, but their vision is to reach their community with the gospel of Christ, especially in their affluent neighbourhoods. Dr. Sos challenged the congregation to become passionate soul winners and to trust God for miracles in the year 2012. It was another powerful ministry in Argentina.

“Centro Cristiano Vision Mundial “El Shaddai” is one of the fastes growing congregations in the area. Rev. Hector Piquard is not only a visionary, but a man with a passion for the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Sos and Barbara were ministering in this assembly for the first time. The response to the message was exceptional and the prayer time afterwards resulted in God’s miraculous work on His people. The Lord willing we will revisit the church next year.

For the past  years Dr. Sos teaches seminars on Leadership related issues at Gran Rey Church. Dr. Hugo Weiss is a visionary who understands that the ministry in the Kingdom of God can only advance if the workers are properly equipped with skills and knowledge of the ministry. Dr. Sos taught a variety of subjects on administration of the church, theological themes, ethical issues of  church and spiritual warfare.  The growing church needs more space to accommodate the people.  The weekend  ministry  begins with the youth service on Saturday and three services on Sunday for adults. The church has also planted several churches in the North and is extending the ministry into Brazil and Spain. They are supporting missionaries and helping with the construction of church buildings. Dr. Weiss is  a hard working minister and his life inspires many other pastors in the country. The ministry on the weekend was very powerful.

It was a great joy for Dr. Sos and Barbara to revisit the church in Pergamino. Since the church was planted, we were able to support that ministry with construction, expansion and some equipment to excel its growth and also helping the development of leadership. Today, the church is an outreach church, ministering to the poor in the north of Argentina, as well as ministry in Spain. After the message, Dr. Sos prayed with many people.

“El Buen Samaritano” is a well known church in La Plata. The ministry to the needy and the 24 Hr radio program, propels  the powerful outreach that Rev. Ares Elida is having with this fine congregation. The church is open 24 hours and one of the pastors always available to minister to walk-in people with needs. Dr. Sos and Barbara were very blessed by the response to the message and the prayer for the sick and other needs. The Lord did great things.

Ministering to the pastors and leaders is a great passion for Dr. Sos. This time for the pastors of Region #1 BS. AS. Rev. Ronaldo Rios, organized an evening with the pastors of this area. The ministry at the altar was great. The Lord healed one pastor and another pastor’s wife came on behalf of a brother who’s  kidneys stop working. After we prayed for him the sister called the hospital and they told her that a few minutes ago his kidneys began to work again. PTL.

Sundays are always filled with a lot of programs. This last Sunday, Dr. Sos and Barbara were ministering in “Iglesia Puerta del Cielo” where Rev. Dr. Manfred Krause is leading the congregation. Two services, in two different locations. In the last two years, with the help of the Lord, Rev. Krause has seen some four hundred percent growth. Barbara shared about SOS Ministries International, after that, Dr. Sos ministered the Word of God. The presence of the Lord was powerfully working in both services.

Last year Dr. Sos ministered at Centro de Adoracion Renuevo. Pastor Walter  Serantes, the senior pastor of this fast growing congregation, invited Dr. Sos to preach the evening service on Saturday . People came with great expectation to receive a special blessing from the Lord. We also had a visiting singer Ruth Mixter,  from Miami, Florida, who travels to many countries in South America. She blessed the congregation with several songs. Pastors Serantes challenged the new comers with a brief message for salvation and about one dozen people came to receive the Lord.  Dr. Sos gave the main message and  then the altar call for the believers. Many received new infilling of the Holy Spirit, and others were healed. It was an exciting time in the Lord.

The ministry in Argentina will conclude this year’s itinerary ministry  for  Dr. Sos and Barbara. They  always look forward to this time expecting a great time in the Lord with the leaders of the AoG and their churches . Dr. Sos was invited by the District Superintendent  Rev. Rolando Rios ,of the Buenos Aires Zona 2, to speak  at their annual “Congreso de Lideres“.  It was a blessing to hear how the Lord is expanding the ministry of these churches. Dr. Sos spoke on the topic, “Men God Uses.” May the Lord continue to bless the teaching and the pastors as they reach their community for Jesus.
