Coming to TCA College, Singapore, to teach a class on “Spiritual Warfare and Prayer” was something Dr. Sos was looking forward to. It was an enthusiastic class, full of expectations and willingness to learn. Participation in the discussions of this very important subject enhanced the overall understanding of warfare that is so prevalent in the ministry of every church. What a delight to see these students to be used of the Lord in this area of ministry even more efficiently.

It was a great  joy for Dr. Sos,  to start his Asia trip in Singapore, revisiting some of the ministries, and churches that we are working together with closely. Elim AG church, pastored by Rev. Glen Lim is an exciting church. The work of the Lord is going forward, and the church is expanding its ministry into the neighborhoods and beyond, The two  Sunday morning services were especially blessed of the Lord. We could sense the growth in spiritual ministry since we last visited the church. We thank the Lord for this vibrant ministry.

Returning to New Life Christian Centre was a blessed experience for Barbara and Dr. Sos. To see the enthusiasm and the joy of serving God is the mark of this congregation. Dr. Sos held a  three nights seminar on “Spiritual Warfare”  and two Sunday services of ministry, praying for believers to receive healing, miracle and deliverance. The Lord did a mighty work on many who came for prayer. The church has a vision to extend their mission beyond the borders of Singapore, Myanmar now to the Philippines. A great blessing to many.

Rev. George Butron, the Senior Pastor of Community of Praise Baptist Church invited Dr. Sos to come and to minister about the fire and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The believers came with a great desire and anticipation to experience the Holy Spirit’s power and fire. Among those who came to be prayed for at the altar were several of those who gave their heart to the Lord. The leadership of the church is focusing on equipping the congregation for evangelism and revival.

Coming to Singapore and teaching  at TCA College, is always a real delight and a privilege. Dr. Sos has been coming for many years to impart knowledge to many excellent men and women in preparation for future ministry. Many of them are pastors with years of experience, others are still on the journey to complete their degree. Dr. Sos  taught a course on “Gifts of the Holy Spirit.”  What a joy to see the deep desire to increase their experience in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  This second trimester, Dr. Sos was teaching at TCA College the class of Holy Spirit in Missions.  This is one of the classes that Dr. Sos enjoys teaching, because many of his experiences on the mission field can be shared with the students. It is exciting to see participation of students from different denomination  taking such interest in this so needed understanding of mission ministry.

For the last eight years,  Dr Sos ministered for the Hakka Methodist Myanmar congregation every year.  This church plant has now grown into a sizable church under the leadership of Pastor Esther Shwe Yi and Pastor Lian Hui Chua.  Under their new name New Life Christian Centre, this church is now an independent church with its mandate to reach out and evangelize the 200 000 Myanmar residents of Singapore. Dr Sos taught  seminars to the leadership as well as the congregation to prepare them for this ministry.  Barbara also shared in the Sunday service. It was a blessed time of teaching and preaching and we pray that it will bring much fruit.

Exciting things are happening at  Faith Assembly of God, Singapore. Some months ago the leadership has changed. Rev. Humphrey Choe and Emilee Ang, have assume the responsibility of senior pastors position.  Since then many things have changed. They invited Dr. Sos to speak at their annual church camp. It is a great blessing to see how the Lord has touched lives during this time. The teaching  sessions on “Vision, Key to Achievement” was received with great interest. Barbara and Dr. Sos are looking forward to seeing the fruit of this ministry time unfold.

Dr Sos and Barbara ministered to the Myanmar congregation on Sunday afternoon. A great number of new people were added to this growing church. The Lord is blessing the effort of Pastor Esther Shwe Yi and her staff as they are reaching out to the Myanmar people in Singapore. The congregation has doubled in the last two years.

Dr Sos was invited to minister in Church of Singapore Balestierin the Sunday morning bilingual service. It is exciting to see how the Lord is growing this church and developing ministries for future expansion. Plans are being considered to relocate next year. May the Lord continue to use the church to see even a greater harvest than up to now.
