MURSKA SOBOTA

Slovenia

Dr. Sos continued ministry in Slovenia majorly focuses on training the leaders and pastors for better equipping of the saints for their ministry. The participation was great. The hunger to know and to be better equipped, is a sign of the continuous work of the Holy Spirit on these leaders to be better prepared for the harvest that the Lord already purposed. Dr. Sos was taught a two day seminar on “Weapons mighty in God”.

The Sunday morning service was dedicated to the ordination of Andrey Bojnec to full time ministry as the  pastor of Murska Sobota and Vescica churches. Rev. Bojnec is the fruit of our effort to send young men called of God to be educated and prepared for such ministry. Barbara  also shared in one of the evening services  about our project in the Philippines, sponsored by the “Logos” foundation of Slovenia. We are very grateful to all contributing sponsors.

ZAGREB

Croatia

The church in Croatia is expanding beyond the boarders of Zagreb, (the capital of Croatia) to its neighbouring towns and cities. Rev. Sasa Bocvarov, is the overseer of five churches in the Zagreb area and Rev. Jasmin Avdagic, Superintendent of the movement, is also pastoring several churches on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Barbara and I, spent two days in Zagreb. On the first day Dr. Sos met with the pastors for a discussion of further teaching topics. The next day  he ministered in the church membership meeting, and  in the evening in the service for all believers. It was very productive  time. We are blessed to see the work of the Lord go ahead and new churches being planted.

Elim church has become the focus of our ministry in the Timish area of Romania. Pastor Mot, senior pastor of this, the largest Pentecostal church in Romania, is determined to provide an evangelistic outreach ministry to their community at least once a year. Preparations were made for three nights of meetings, with emphasis of salvation, healing, and  deliverance ministry. The Lord moved miraculously in this time. VITORIA

Spain

Dr. Sos taught a  one day seminar in the North of Spain in the city of Vitoria. It was a gathering of pastors and leaders from that districts. Since it was Dr. Sos’ first time with these leaders it was exciting to get to know the work and ministry of these pastors. Although, this is not an easy place of ministry, the churches are growing and new churches are being planted.  The seminar on “Five-fold Ministry” was well received, and a great blessing for their future ministry.

ACCRA

Ghana

Last year, Dr. Sos and Barbara were invited to a meeting with the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong Manso.

General Superintendent of AoG, Ghana

During their conversation certain needs were brought up. After visiting their publishing house, Dr. Sos has seen the need for more printing presses and other equipment to help them to put out greater number of books and Christian materials. It was a great joy for Dr. Sos to see the equipment safely delivered and installed in the printing shop.

We would like to express our thanks to Mr. Peter Ng, who has donated presses, perforating machine, folder, camera, plate making machine, colour separation machine and photo copier.

MAMPROBI

Ghana

From Elmina, Dr Sos traveled to see the village where the container goods have been sent at the end of last year.  Rev. Robert Arhin, senior pastor of Hope Assembly of God church in Mamprobi has planted a church in this village and started this school. When Barbara and I visited it for the first time, Barbara’s heart connected with these children. She was the major force behind the shipment of clothing, shoes, school supplies, rice, school equipment and other such items that she was able to send for children.

When Dr. Sos arrived to see the distributed goods, the children were looking for mom Barbara. We thank all Canadian families who gave the donations. New class rooms are being constructed, and the library expanded.
