Dr. Sos continued ministry in Slovenia majorly focuses on training the leaders and pastors for better equipping of the saints for their ministry. The participation was great. The hunger to know and to be better equipped, is a sign of the continuous work of the Holy Spirit on these leaders to be better prepared for the harvest that the Lord already purposed. Dr. Sos was taught a two day seminar on “Weapons mighty in God”.

The Sunday morning service was dedicated to the ordination of Andrey Bojnec to full time ministry as the  pastor of Murska Sobota and Vescica churches. Rev. Bojnec is the fruit of our effort to send young men called of God to be educated and prepared for such ministry. Barbara  also shared in one of the evening services  about our project in the Philippines, sponsored by the “Logos” foundation of Slovenia. We are very grateful to all contributing sponsors.

The faithfulness of the Lord is visible in many churches in Slovenia, especially in Novo mesto, where the Lord is doing great things. Presently the church is under renovation and some new construction, adding double the amount of seating capacity. The sacrificial giving of the congregation is making this exciting project possible. Rev. Dr. Daniel Brkic, pastor of this congregation, invited Dr. Sos to come and to minister a two day seminar on “Faith”. The services are held outside  in the open place behind the church building until the construction is completed.

Each year the churches in Slovenia  celebrate “Day of the Church”. This year they invited Dr. Sos, to be the speaker for this very special occasion. The believers from surrounding churches participated in both Sunday services. During the morning service, four pastors were honoured for their ministry of many years. Their contribution to the Pentecostal Church of Slovenia, is appreciated by the new generation of pastors, who are continuing to carry their vision for Slovenia. The afternoon service was dedicated to prayer for greater anointing and fruitfulness in reaching souls for Jesus Christ.

This year  Dr. Sos and Barbara  returned to Slovenia for  ministry in Maribor and Murska Sobota. The Seminar was in Maribor at Emanuel Pentecostal Church, where Rev. Srecko Krajnc and Viktor Andrejek are pastoring.  Dr. Sos was teaching a seminar on “Spiritual Gifts”, specifically  on Prophecy. It was well attended and spiritually beneficial, especially for the leaders of various churches attending the seminar.

 Barbara and Dr. Sos spent last weekend in Ljubljana, ministering the Word of God.  The congregation was very  responsive to the preaching. Another purpose for this meeting was to setup an itinerary for next year to teach a seminar. Rev. Chris Scobi is doing a great job, leading the congregation and preparing the future leadership for extended ministries.

A two day seminar is not enough for the theme  ”Evangelism in the local church“.  Dr. Sos taught several hours each day, to get the basics in for this  important ministry of the church. Leaders and pastors from the   Northern District  of Slovenia participated in these sessions. Each session concluded with prayer for more power of the Holy Spirit, His enabling and skills to do evangelism more effectively. It was a very profitable time.

The service in Binkostna Cerkev, Murska Sobota, was our last service in Slovenia. Believers from several  other churches participated in this pre-Pentecost service. The Lord moved by his Holy Spirit in a special way. Several believers shared with us, how the Lord touched their lives and some were healed. We thank the Lord for his blessing in Slovenia.

Binkoštna cerkev Emanuel, Maribor is one of the fast growing churches in Slovenia. Pastor Srecko Kranjc and  missionary Viktor Andrejek are mobilizing the believers to reach the city with the message of Christ. Dr. Sos taught a  two day seminar on “Evangelism”. Believers from other Pentecostal churches  joined in for this two day seminar.

 In the evenings and on Sunday morning,  Dr. Sos ministered with the word of God. The move of the Holy Spirit was evident in each service. At the conclusion of the services, Dr. Sos and Barbara prayed for healing and special needs. All in all great weekend of ministry.

Rev. Dr. Daniel Brkic, Superintendent of the Slovenian Pentecostal churches invited Dr. Stefan Sos to teach a seminar on “Evangelism”. He began with two services on Sunday. The church was pact and several people needed to stand during the entire service. Monday and Tuesday seminars were well attended. Barbara and I  were blessed to see many new faces in this growing congregation. We believe for great things in the future ministry of this church.

The Pentecostal church of Ljubljana is doing well. Two years ago, Dr. Stefan Sos,  ministered in special services and the Lord did a great work in many believers lives. This time, Dr. Sos has taught a seminar on Pneumatology, for the students of the newly established Bible School in Ljubljana. Two evening Dr. Sos spoke in evangelistic services, where the presence of the Lord was mighty among his people.
