Ukraine was one of our first european countries we visited after the revolution. We found a solid work of the Lord, even during communist time. Large churches were build and they were full of Christians who were dedicated to the Lord more than we are used in Canada or other western countries of the world. They learned to practice their christianity under most difficult circumstances. The services are conducted in similar fashion as the orthodox church practices. But the Spirit is present in every service.

The preaching of the Word and teaching of pastors was my ministry for this time in Ukraine. We got to know many leaders and pastors who really appreciated the teaching and financial help we could provide for construction of their churches.

This church received much help from Canada and the USA. They started this church building still under communist regime, but soon realized the without the financial help they will not be able to finish it.

Thanks to the people of Canada who have a burden for their old country and are willing to help their own people.
